AWAやTWEで、4.5の壁を越えられなくてお悩みの方、
それはひょっとしたら、小手先の技にこだわっているからかも知れません。
確かに、「スコアメークのこつ」というものは存在し、それを心得ることは大切ですが、
皮肉なことに、それだけでGMATのスコアメークはできません。 大事なのは「英文作成のこつ」、
そしてそれを心得ることで、 AWAやTWEはもちろん、本番のエッセイをひと際抜きん出たものにしてくれるのです。
それがまさに、Jane先生の「AWA攻略特講」のめざすところです。

Many people agree that it is only by writing down their thoughts in carefully
reasoned prose that they can clarify their thinking.
The GMAT gives us a chance not only to sharpen our minds but to access one of
the most powerful tools at our disposal ﾐ writing!
The great wisdom in studying for Analytical Writing Assessment questions is
that you can start to think in English. And the more you practice, the better
your English communication and thinking skills will become!
During this class you will learn the difference between the Analysis of Argument
and Analysis of Issue questions and how to answer them. Some of the AWA test-taking
strategies we will cover are:
l Timing your answers
l Generating ideas
l Structure and templates
l Specific language usage
l Insight and persuasion
Those studying for the TWE section of TOEFL will recognize some of the same
skills coming into play ﾐ they are all connected!
Remember: there is no wrong or right answer to AWA questions but there is ranking
from ﾒdeficientﾓ to ﾒoutstandingﾓ. So letﾕs aim for ﾒoutstandingﾓ!!
Jane先生ご紹介 Mrs Jane Hiroko Goldstone
Jane先生はカナダ生まれの日系3世ですが本人は自分を地球人と名乗っていらっしゃいます。
そのおだやかな笑顔とたまにお見せくださるとてつもないユニークさ！笑 でいつも場をなごませ、盛り上げてくださっています。
カナダの大学、大学院をご卒業後、British Columbia大学、Toronto大学等で教鞭を取られ、カナダ人学生を指導してこられた、いわばプロ中のプロ！！
その親身な指導と鋭い指摘は まさに他に類を見ないクオリティです。
来日されたのはおよそ20年前、有名雑誌等の編集等々のお仕事を経られ、現在は某国立大学や某私立大学でも教鞭を取っておられます。
母国語である英語はもちろんの事、日本語もNative級 ひょっとしたらTGの他講師陣よりも日本語お上手かも・・・（少なくとも日本語が上品である事は間違いない！）
噂によるとインド、中国、スペインや中近東の文化にも深い関心を持ち、それらの言葉も習おうとした時期もありました。 Jane先生はTGのポリシーに深く共感くださり、講師としてTGに加わってくださっています。
